Herbal Consultations

All sessions include an intake where health history , as well as the emotions, state of mind, and spirit of the client are discussed in order to set achievable goals.

Afterwards, recommendation for herbs, supplements, diet and bodywork are charted out. A half hour follow-up session, approximately one week later is included in the cost.

Cost: $60.00 per hour & cost of herbs and/or supplements.

Aromatherapy Consultations

Aroma profiling and custom blending are conducted to fit the client's personal goals. Custom blending consists of one or more of the following:

• a synergy for inhalation
• massage oil
• perfume blend
• bath oil
• bath salts
• body lotion/oil
• face lotion/oil
• synergistic body spray
• synergistic room spray

Cost: $60 per hour & cost of customized product.

Aromatherapy Insight Readings

The Aromatherapy Insight Cards are a practical and beautiful tool to help you tap into your intuition, develop your emotional awareness and increase your knowledge as you learn the subtle uses of aromatherapy. You will receive a personal blend with each reading.

Flower Essence Consultations

Flower essences are energetic imprints of the life force of plants which interact with a human being and evoke specific qualities. These qualities bring change and relief surrounding the different physical, mental, emotional and spiritual conditions within our daily lives.

During this consultation flower essences are chosen to fit the client's needs via a selection of dowsing techniques such as body dowsing, kinesiology and the use of a pendulum.

Cost: $60 per hour (cost includes 1/2 oz flower essence blend) Flower essence refills $15.00

Lyme Disease Flower Essence Treatment

Flower essences heal on the emotional and vibrational levels of the body. This treatment helps bring relief from the symptoms associated with Lyme Disease. The session includes a thorough intake, the use of a specific set of Teasel Flower Essences and an energy balancing session.

Consultation & Design ~ Planting/Container Planting ~ Maintenance

Gardening with Finesse provides personalized garden services including consultation and design, installation and maintenance. Our specialty is "fine gardening"; we work primarily with hand tools. We also use brush cutters and chain saws to remove overgrowth, and can provide light rototilling. Typically we practice organic principles of dgardening; however we are open to using other products that our clients request.

Consultation & Design

At Gardening with Finesse we consult with each client to create landscape gardens that express their vision and afford managed spaces for outdoor activities. Landscape garden designs range from simply neat and tidy, to unique, creatively designed spaces. Whether small or large, each garden receives our full care, consideration and attention to full detail. We work efficiently to ensure the client receives the best service for his or her budget. Depending on the client's needs we can:

• Provide lists of plants recommended for sun or shade, moist or dry conditions
• Plants native to the region or plants that provide seasonal interest
• Accompany the client to nurseries to suggest or select plants
• Execute on-site design of garden and landscape spaces

Planting/Container Planting

Gardening with Finesse will prepare the soil, lay out and plant annuals, perennials, shrubs and small trees for your garden. We choose varieties that will grow to an appropriate size and shape as the landscape matures.

If you have visited The Herb Wyfe in Wickford, you've surely admired Lesley's lush container plantings that grace the entrance to her shop. Lesley will plant urns and window boxes that complement your home and welcome your guests. Preference for a cool or warm color palette, foliage texture and even scent are considered in the design.

Maintenance

Gardens are a source of seasonal delight as well as an investment in the value of your home. Careful attention to cultivation requirements ensure the continued health and appearance of your landscape plants. Gardening with Finesse understands what it takes to make a garden grow. Drawing upon extensive knowledge about soil, fertilizers, watering and other cultivation requirements we offer:

• Clean-ups for spring and fall

Lesley A. Wooler has a B.Sc. in Horticulture and 35 years experience working with plants. She worked at a local nursery for 25 years and has maintained her own landscape/gardening business for 10 years. She is a RI Certified Horticultrist and a Master Gardener as well.

Pol Hermes has been gardening for over 30 years. She had her own organic farm in Maine for over 20 years and ran her own herbal apprenticeship programs there. She is a teacher as well as being an herbalist and a gardener.
